Diversity Casting is a full-service casting company located in the heart of San Francisco.
Founded in 1991 under the name International Talent Casting (ITC), we began by specializing in foreign-language and ethnic casting for companies that were converting video games and training videos into foreign languages. ITC provided consulting and production services along with foreign-language casting for these types of projects. Over the years, we evolved to provide mainstream casting for all kinds of productions, ranging from feature films to television shows, from voice-overs to educational programs — all while promoting the need for more diversity in casting. In 2010, we changed our name to Diversity Casting to truly reflect the need for cultural representation across all mediums.
We thrive on partnering with our clients throughout the creative process and drawing from the rich pool of talent we have right here in the San Francisco Bay Area. In all cases, we will exhaust every possible resource to find the best talent, whether in the Bay Area or beyond, for each and every project.
Sarah Kliban, CSA
Sarah Kliban is the founder and principal casting director for Diversity Casting and a member of the Casting Society of America. She is also an accomplished producer, director, actor, and teacher. Her early training and experiences as a performer have proven to be invaluable in her work with actors.
As a casting director, she is devoted to problem-solving, finding the best talent, getting the best performances out of actors, and successfully casting ‘real people’ roles. Sarah has worked on casting projects for a variety of theatrically-released films and televisions shows, commercials, educational and theatre programs, both as a casting director and associate casting director.
As an actress, Sarah has worked in theatre, film, and in voice-over. Sarah also teaches select courses for both acting and voice-overs in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has taught audition workshops around the country and coaches actors privately for auditions, speeches, and interviews.
